  We maintain  environmental and societal consciousness with every step we take. Gnosis works directly with our producers to verify fair labor practices & Raw Integrity. Our packaging is post-consumer recycled, biodegradable, & printed with vegetable inks. Gnosis donates over 10% to the Fruit Tree Planting Foundation & dozens of local and international causes.

The founder of Gnosis Chocolate is Vanessa Barg (aka Chocolate Girl), a Board Certified Holistic Health counselor, who began making chocolate as a gift for her clients. She is motivated by a deep passion for educating consumers on how to vote with their every day choices for a shift in the marketplace towardsproducts that benefit their body, our society, and the earth! Gnosis' products are the wings upon which Vanessa’s mission of nutritional integrity & sustainable business flies. She has visited several of our sources – working with them directly to verify quality, working conditions, & support the growth of organic farming (view her project reports on the right panel).
