Wow! I LOVED the chocolate bar that you sent to me for taste-testing. The texture was beautifully velvety-creamy. I don't usually go for chocolate and orange, but in this bar it really worked! And the crystalized ginger was a delightful, zingy surprise!
I generously shared my bar with my two sons (15 and 13) who both agreed that it was astoundingly delicious. This was their first experience of raw chocolate, and it was fun for me to broaden their horizons.

I'm a health food fanatic. When I found out over a year ago that chocolate was actually good for you I was overjoyed. Your chocolates are among my favorites because of the purity of the ingredients and great tastes and texture.

My husband and I are absolutely obsessed with Gsnosis Chocolate, and I am normally not a huge fan of chocalate! We bought almost every flavor at Whole Foods last weekend, and we have a square a day as a special "treat" during our cleanse. My favorite is the Peppermint so far (haven't yet tasted them all). I've never been a dark chocolate lover, therefore I've had to force myself to try your Gnosis Chocolate, reasons being the health benefits. My sister-in-law is hyped up over Xocai and has bought in to the MLM organization. She's raving about the benefits of dark chocolate and is pressing me about purchasing from her. I've sampled her Xocai and wasn't impressed at all.... taste or price. I read about your Gnosis Chocolate and thought I would give it a try since I could buy as little or as much as I wanted. Didn't have to fork out $125 plus $15 shipping on the very first try.

I'll have to admit that dark chocolate is NOT my favorite chocolate, but I am impressed with your product. I eat one square every day and have come to really enjoy the flavor. Your chocolate is not hard like the Xocai, in fact it's kinda creamy. I ordered the Superchoc and the Pomegranate Acai. I like the Pomegranate Acai the best.

Do you still offer the "Buy 5, get one free". I truly intend to purchase more of this chocolate.

ive had a bunch of your chocolates before and loved them. ordered 1lb each of fleur de sel and coconut almond for my birthday party and they were a HUGE hit! i hadnt tried either of them before but knew id like them, and do! the salt hits your tongue and its a perfect accompaniment to the chocolate.

So many new, unexplored flavors to try, now I have no idea what my favorite is because every time I try a new one, I am blown away all over again (I do especially dig the sea salt and turmeric though!). I had great fun exploring the box and also tasting everything thoroughly.

Out of the 12 bars, jam and one hot chocolate powder, I've been buzzing and recording my results.

Firstly the Hot Chocolate:

I think its truly great, the spice is so prominent as are the mixture of flavours bursting in your mouth. Looking through the ingredients I challenge myself to pick them out individually with each sip. The "Love" benefits and natural highs are great and when I make a hot mocha (the daily or double daily treat) it goes down even better. I have minimal caffeine and so combining the two really works., although on its own is just as good. I enjoy the kick it leaves at the back of the throat and also the natural healthy high it leaves. It feels like a clean product and also doesn't have any guilty feelings remaining after consumption. Defiantly something I will re order in future.

The Jam:

The thickness and heavy, deep, dense flavours that come from it are simply perfect. Its softer than expected but at the same time sticky and tough. Great for mixing with my treat but not ideal for toast spreading, Not that I'm a toast man. The best way is with a spoon of 100% Peanut butter. Sweet healthy Goji berry goodness and salty healthy PB. Everyday is a treat day. Wow!!!

Instead of breaking down each one, as we all have work to be getting on with I will score them out of 10.

I was so pleased that Vanessa was able to make chocolate specifically to my specifications! I can't have any sugar even agave, so I was pretty depressed that I couldn't have chocolate anymore. I have never enjoyed a chocolate as much as your fleur de sel, and I enjoyed the packaging and think it's really generous that you donate some of the profits.

I purchased your chocolate (ZeroG, Simplicity, and Peppermint) for my husband who is a choc-aholic but cannot have dairy or sugar in his diet. He absolutely loved them and I just wish we had a local store that carried them. Will definitely be ordering in the future.

I just received my order of 3 Valentine truffles (which I ordered for myself for my 50th birthday this month) and a pound of raw cacao powder. I have to say that your customer service is the BEST. Fast, thorough, and sincerely caring. I didn't get soaked for shipping and handling, either. By contrast, I recently ordered raw chocolates from another online raw shop - very expensive, my instructions to the carrier did not make it onto the package, and even though my order was shipped FedEx (I had no choice), it took longer than yours (via USPS) to reach me.....Your raw cacao is the best, and the cacao smoothie I had for breakfast this morning saved the day. I am saving the truffles for the 21st, but in the meantime I marvel at them daily as works of art. Stay as you are, and I'll be your devoted customer forever! I love your chocolate. It makes me feel like I'm doing something good for myself instead of eating junk but it's also a treat. I also started adding your cocoa to my coffee. It is helping my cut down on coffee but still have a warm drink in the morning.

Greetings from the deep South. I have just received my first order of Gnosis Chocolate consisting of two Aphrodesia bars and one Coconut Almond. The Aphrodesia bars were gifts for Valentine's Day. The Coconut Almond bar I ate myself. The chocolate flavor was prominent but not overwhelming as it also allowed the coconut and almond tastes to come through. The texture was somewhat surprising. It was smooth and yet slightly granular at the same time. However, the texture was not unpleasant. The bottom line is that I really enjoyed the chocolate and appreciated the absence of refined sugar and dairy.

I ordered your Chocolate Cinnamon Soap Bar, How Now Brown Cacao Lotion and Aphrodsia Bar for my husband and the soap for our married children for Valentines Day. My husband and I have really enjoyed the products. The lotion smells good enough to eat! I'll have to let you know later if the soap has removed the cellulite! LOL Thanks for the great products.

I had the true pleasure of meeting you, Vanessa, and sampling Gnosis chocolate at the Sept., 2010 IIN graduation. I only eat quality organic dark chocolate, however your chocolate by far surpasses anything I've had. The blends you've created are phenomenal, all working so well together! My Valentines Day order arrived just as promised. The six bars I ordered for myself are being shared sparingly and lovingly! LATE last Wednesday I found myself online reading about the many health attributes of cacao and found a review comparing several 'brands' which included Gnosis and, AH HA! everything for which I was searching: vegan, raw, pure, organic, low in sugar, AND not something I had planned to find: Made By Hand! One click and I was opening the online equivalent to a Treasure Chest. Now mind you it was late at night so I knew I HAD to place an order before I went to sleep, and started by scrutinizing each one of the Bars, all the while thinking, "could this chocolate really taste as good as I am feeling just by reading the seductive descriptions, contents and attributes of each delicious sounding dilemma?" Having finally made my decision of 2 fleur de sel, aphrodisia, and coconut almond bars, and about to place the order I questioned how much would the shipping be? So I sent an email with that question, and resolved to call it a night and wait for an answer in the morning, but before I could finish brushing my teeth, I received your reply: that the shipping would be the quick ship USPS at the standard flat rate. With my question answered I placed my order and had it shipped to my work address; safe from my home's mailbox and the heat of South Florida's Winter. My order was shipped the very next day and delivered on Saturday to my work address where it was safe and cool. What a great surprise to open my job's mailbox and find the box containing what I knew must be jewels. Upon entering the office and before doing anything else, I tore into a fleur de sel bar and savored such a flavor that was everything which I had hoped! The other flavors were equally astounding. I made it home with the second fleur de sel bar unopened, and partially finished aphrodisia and coconut almond bars (having shared with my co-workers!) My partner at home promptly finished what was left of the aphrodisia bar asking if there was anymore of 'that one?' He doesn't even like dark chocolate. If you haven't seen "Portlandia" and the cacao vignette... you must!

Many thanks to you Vanessa and Team Gnosis! As commented by others "excellent customer service" and above all a truly superior and unique chocolate. This is just the beginning of my search and discovery of Gnosis' other treasures.

Oh my! The heat was just enough to feel it perfectly with a glass of red wine. The added fruit and nuts added the sweet chew that helped prolong the depth of flavor.

I had expected the lack of dairy to create a dearth of cooling that good chocolate often creates on your tongue. I was shocked in the best possible of ways when it provided the perfect in the mouth melt and subsequent temperature drop that increased the flavor sensation. The heat, though touted as intense, was not intense in the least and most closely resembled an addition of flavor rather than a trip through taste torture.

I recommend this chocolate for those of us who want a flavor experience in addition to an amazing chocolate base. The foundation of this bar is far above average, their addition of the heat (and sweet) is clever and sets this producer's product above most other chocolates. The fact that it's vegan is simply the non-dairy icing on the gluten free cake.
